This program is an ideal foundation study for those who want to build a career in the skin care industry as a professional Skin Care Therapist with CIBTAC; an internationally recognized diploma.
This course covers:
Theory:
Skin - structure/function/diseases, skin analysis & consultation, nail care, hair growth cycle, anatomy & physiology of human body, health & hygiene, electricity for treatments and the business of skin care.
Practical:
Facework, Professional Make-Up, Eyebrow Grooming, Facial Massage, Electrical Treatment, Manicure, Pedicure, Waxing and Tinting.
Electrical equipments include:
Steamer, Magnifying Lamp, Hi-Frequency, Galvanic, Faradic, Vacuum Suction
On-job training:
Skin analysis & consultation, basic commercial practice, product knowledge, retail
Entry requirement:
16 years and above, pleasant looking & disposition, passion towards performing face treatment, show ability to learn, ability to speak simple English will be an advantage.
An interview is required to be part of scholarship selection
Duration:
600 classroom hours + 300 hours commercial practice
